Race six, Sunday, at California State Fair: story of a race

Leaving the gate, race six
The mile-long races start, and finish, in front of the grandstand at the Sacramento race track within the California State Fair; you get to see the horses leave the gate, and cross the finish line, right in front of you. This is the story of one race--race number six on the Sacramento card. The horses were 1) Al's Uncle, 2) Delta Ranger, 3) Saint Adalbert, 4) Ahasuerus, 5) Warren's Joe T., and 6) Volkonsky.

Horse races are incredibly fast. Don't blink.
