Last night, I removed and composted several garden/green bean plants. They were insane, no-one was eating them, and the beans were disgustingly stringy. I don't know why I planted so many; next year, I'll reduce the number, make them closer to the path for picking, and plant more borlotti and broad beans instead of French/"bush" (really?) etc.
Dug and replanted the beanless area with carrots and salad leaves.
