Peter Murphy, AKA lead singer of Bauhaus, and his band, performing at Sacramento's Harlows. It's a small, "intimate" venue, with a bar, tables around the walls, a dance floor and a stage; a great place for live music in mid-town Sacramento, on J-street which is always lively on a summer Friday evening. But I was rather surprised that this was where Peter Murphy chose to play in Northern California, on the road between L.A. and Oakland. It's not the first time he's played in Sac: he's been to the Roadhouse in Orangevale in the past. First time I have seen him live, and first time going to a show at Harlows.

Peter was sick with a cold, but he still put on one heck of a performance.

I really went to see him because of something that Jade wrote: see this review to understand why. I'm glad I went: it was a fun evening. And they did the best cover of Ziggy Stardust I've heard...
