There are some oldies-but-goodies in the lineup for this year's California State Fair concert series:
- John Kay and Steppenwolf
- Macy Gray
- Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
- America
- Bret Michaels
- Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo
- and Queen. OK not really Queen, but Queen Nation, a great tribute band. If you missed them last year, make a point of NOT missing them this year: they're fun, and that's what it's all about.
And of course, there's the midway-fairground, the animals, the horses, the exhibits, and everything else that makes up the State Fair. And never-forget the deep-fried-ice-cream-on-a-stick!
