California State Fair: fairground art and my fairground muse

Each year I return to the California State Fair fairground, the "Midway", to see the WaveSwinger. I don't understand why it's not surrounded by photographers day and night, like a gorgeous celebrity: she shows a different face early on a summers day to late on a party night. She moves gracefully, calmly, yet excites all who see her. She is beautifully painted and has a classic, almost-Victorian beauty.

The WaveSwinger is my fairground muse.
