Much loved by their local fans, the Deftones drew a huge, and I mean HUGE, crowd to the main stage at Aftershock, held in Sacramento's Discovery Park. For me, very much the "in-the-photo-pit" experience. Fans climbing/being helped over the barricade. Lots of serious photographers. Lots of security, and medics at the ready. The fans at the front of the crush had been there for hours; the sun, and the heat, intense. Worth the wait? From the look on their faces, absolutely!
